Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

1 1/2 sticks (12 tablespoons) unsalted butter at room temp
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

1. Beat the butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in a large bowl with a nicer on low speed until combined. increase the speed to medium high and beat until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes. 
2. Reduce the speed to low, add the flour, and beat until combined, about 30 seconds. Add the milk, increase the speed to medium and beat until creamy, about 30 seconds. Stir in the chocolate chips. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight.
