Pan Fried Green Beans

1 pound fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper


Heat a skillet over med/high heat. Add green beans and water, bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, cover and cook for 8-10 minutes or until beans are tender, stirring occastionally.

Uncover, raise heat to med/high, add olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook until water evaporates stirring often, about 2 minutes
